It's OK and will be suitable for the recipient however, I wouldn't like to knit another pair, they're a bit non-discript if that's the right description.
And below is what I have left out of 48g of Patons 2ply Baby Wool (100% wool) that I hand-dyed myself (there should have been 50g but by the time I'd hanked it, dyed it, re-hanked it etc etc.... I'd 48g left) so no chance of getting anymore.
I was so relieved when I finally cast off the 403 stitches and had this left at least I know for future reference what it takes to knit a larger Swallowtail. Anyway more tomorrow when hopefully I will have finished photos for you. I tried last night to get DH to help me block it but he wasn't for playing!!!!

I like the sock! I was wondering how it'd look knitted up!
The hand dyed yarn looks a beautiful soft colour :)
Hmmmm....I still like the stripey KF socks best I think. But I'm pleasantly surprised by the Mirage - it knit up much better than I had expected. Thanks LB!
I'm looking forward to photos of the Swallowtail - the hand dyed yarn looks very pretty!
I tink i like the mirage better than the stripes, good job as I have 2 different colours of it.
Funny, your blue socks looks just like a pair I made with CTH yarn in some colorway. They are pretty, I think, and not too eye-boggling. A bit boring to knot, though//
The hand-dyed yarn is lovely!
And thanks for the compliment on the Black Widow. Harry is still drunk. I am getting a bit worried and would really like to unpin the thing from the floor already.
